Our IMC Industrial Group business in Indonesia, PT Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk was awarded the Best Listed Company in Infrastructure Sector at the Investor Awards 2020 (Indonesia), organized by the Investor Magazine.
Investor Magazine (part of Berita Satu Media Holding Group), is one of the popular Investment and Finance magazines in Indonesia. The virtual Investor Award 2020 event, was broadcasted LIVE in Berita Satu TV business news channel on 21 July 2020.
The winning companies were selected by a panel of jury comprising of specialists from various Industries in Capital and Equity Market, Financial and Investment based on the following stringent criteria:
- The Company must have resilience or adaptability to changing business models
- The Company is able to survive crisis pressures, and take advantage of opportunities to rise
- The Company must have the ability to survive through the crisis
- The Company must adapt to the demands of modern business change and carefully read business opportunities for a better business future on the challenging economic conditions in recent years.
The winners must also not to incur net losses and operating losses in 2019 and the listed company to have the equity with a minimum Rp 100 billion.
The shares of the public listed company must also be classified as active shares (during the period of 1 June 2019 to 31 May 2020, may not be transacted for ten weeks or more).
About 700 listed companies in Indonesia were evaluated for various categories of the Award.
